Dirtpocket: We are an NYC improv team that performs a monoscene - one continuous scene in one location where anything can happen. Our team members perform at NYC’s major improv theaters, including house teams and indie teams, and are all passionate chuckleheads. In each set, we take one suggestion and build a universe of magic and mayhem. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Nathan Blinn is a comedian based in NYC. He is the creator of the multimedia variety comedy show Tomorrow is Tonight (@tomorrowistonite) and a writer/perfomer on Magnet Theater’s veteran sketch team Ghost Girl. Festival credits: SF Sketchfest, Austin Sketchfest, Toronto Sketchfest, Seattle Sketchfest, DC Sketchfest, Denver Sketchfest.
Lovely Shoes Improv Team, NYC: Thanks to Bruce's Club we practice at Bloombergs and graze their abundant snack bar. Best panoramic view in town. After a good year with our Side Coached Show, we now launch a variety show. 3rd Tuesday Under St Marks Theater.
We are building upon last season’s Side-Coached Improv Show in which we had various improv teams creating long form improv shows. But improvisation being evanescent, we wanted to have the ideas that came out of improvisation committed to page and then scripted performances, so this season we present a variety show in which we combine improv, storytelling, and sketch comedy that primarily was born during our improv sets.
Our show is an offshoot of East Village Performance/Practice Group that started in Spring 2025. Our gratitude goes to Under St. Marks Theater that fostered our group.
Donna Steele our main coach, actor, improviser, and writer based in NYC. She performs weekly on Harold Night with Babygirl and on Magnet Theater’s house team, Janet.
Vermillion is a performer, writer, visual artist and curator. She is a regular exhibitor at the Outsider Art Fair and curated internationally The Mushroom Show 2023 and Unfurling: Coming Out Of Isolation 2026 both in NYC and London. As a performer she is in residence at Under St Marks Theater. She performs regularly her solo storytelling show, On Cats and Dogs and Other Family Revelations. As part of the 2026 Gotham Storytelling Festival, she will premiere Fanging My Way Thru America [Hatchlings Of The Devil’s Nest and Fifty Sons and Daughters Cycles] the first volume from her endless Book Spines Broken By My Purring Cat series.
Babygirl: veteran indie improv team of UCB Harold Team fame.
